Terms & Conditions
✨ Service Terms – Personalized Online Lessons
I offer private online lessons in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and Italian, fully tailored to each learner’s needs.
Here are a few simple rules to ensure our future sessions are smooth, respectful, and enjoyable.
🕒 Lesson Duration & Format
- Each lesson generally lasts 60 minutes = 1 hour, unless otherwise specified. This can be adjusted based on our mutual availability.
- Sessions take place online, via Google Meet or Teams.
- The access link will be sent by email before the first class. It will then be included in your course support document for future sessions.
- Learning materials are provided and tailored to your level and goals.
- The first class is free to evaluate if the pace, topics, and my teaching style suit you. No commitment.
💳 Rates & Payment
- €40/hour including VAT*.
- Payment is made via bank transfer, upon receipt of the invoice.
*Price includes all taxes – VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (auto-entrepreneur scheme).
🔁 Cancellations or Rescheduling
- One free cancellation or reschedule per month is allowed, provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Any late cancellation (less than 24 hours) or unjustified absence will result in the lesson being charged.
- In the event of an issue on my end, I will always suggest a new date that suits you.
⏱️ Delays
- I remain available for the first 15 minutes of the class.
- Without any news after this delay, the class is considered cancelled and non-refundable.
- Time lost due to lateness cannot be made up, unless an exception is agreed upon.
🧾 Invoicing & Late Payment Penalty
- A monthly invoice is sent at the end of each month, summarizing the completed sessions. You’ll receive my bank details (French IBAN / RIB) after the trial lesson.
- Payment must be made by bank transfer upon receipt of the invoice and no later than the last calendar day of the month.
In case of late payment, a penalty of 40% of the total invoice will automatically be applied, in accordance with Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code, which provides for a flat-rate compensation for recovery costs. This penalty applies to all responsible payers, including parents or third parties in charge of the invoice. - Due to bank processing times, the invoice may be sent a few days before the end of the month, without impacting the payment terms.
🔒 Confidentiality
- All exchanged information (messages, emails, calls, files, recordings) is strictly confidential.
- No content will be shared without your explicit consent.
🌍 International students
- Open to learners from around the world: teenagers (with parental consent) and adults.
- Session times are adjusted to the time zone difference (reference: Paris time).
- Payments in foreign currencies are accepted via suitable means (to be discussed during the trial lesson).
